Lagoa
Lagoa is a city in the western Algarve, with 23 725 inhabitants across 88 km², with prehistoric heritage, a farming tradition centred on wine and a strong religious tradition.
Its coast, with Carvoeiro, Ferragudo, the Benagil sea cave and Praia da Marinha, has given the municipality a tourist character.
