Olhos d'Água is a village in the municipality of Albufeira, east of the city. Its beaches mark the change between the rocky coast of the western Algarve and the sandy coast of the east.
The village takes its name from the freshwater springs, olhos d'água or olheiros, that rise through the sand of the beach and can be seen at low tide.
