Marina de Leixões, also known as Marina Porto Atlântico, lies at the root of the north mole of the port of Leixões, in Leça da Palmeira, Matosinhos. Floating pontoons and fingers are held by metal piles driven into the rock bottom, and a 50 metre alongside quay takes visitors. An association formed in 1992 by the Clube Naval de Leça, the Clube de Vela Atlântico and the Sport Club do Porto holds the concession from the port authority.
