Marina de Peniche, also known as Marina da Ribeira, lies inside the west mole of the port of Peniche, on the south side of the peninsula about 1.5 miles east southeast of Cabo Carvoeiro. The 120 metre entrance faces south southeast between two moles, the west mole running about 700 metres and the east about 450. The harbour shelters well from northerly winds, though southerly winds send swell into the marina.
